Sexual Addiction Resources

Sex Addicts Anonymous
A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so they may overcome their sexual addiction and help others recover from sexual addiction and dependency. Membership is open to all who share a desire to stop addictive sexual behavior. There is no other requirement. Our common goals are to become sexually healthy and to help other sex addicts achieve freedom from compulsive sexual behavior.

S-Anon International Family Groups
A program of recovery for those who have been affected by someone else’s sexual behavior. S–Anon is based on the Twelve Steps and the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Sexaholics Anonymous
A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop lusting and become sexually sober. There are no dues or fees for SA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.

Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous
A 12-Step Fellowship of men and women who help each other to stay sober. They offer the same help to anyone who has
sex addiction or love addiction or both and wants to do something about it. Since S.L.A.A.’s are all addicts themselves, they have a special understanding of each other and the disease. They know what the illness feels like—and they have learned how to recover from it through S.L.A.A’s Twelve Steps.

Alcohol Addiction Resources

Alcoholics Anonymous®
A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

Al-Anon / Alateen
Al-Anon (which includes Alateen for younger members) has been offering hope and help to families and friends of alcoholics for over 50 years. It is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people… alcoholism is truly a family disease. No matter what relationship you have with an alcoholic, whether they are still drinking or not, all who have been affected by someone else’s drinking can find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship.

Adult Children of Alcoholics World Service Organization
A Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program of women and men who grew up in alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional homes.

National Association for Children of Alcoholics
An advocate for all children and families affected by alcoholism and other drug dependencies.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
SAMHSA is the Federal agency charged with improving the quality and availability of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitative services in order to reduce illness, death, disability, and cost to society resulting from substance abuse and mental illnesses.
